Say Hello to Our Newest Member, Bushido Lab

Bushido is a Japanese collective term for the “way of the warrior” and samurai way of life, but today we aren’t talking about just any samurai. We are talking about our new members, BushidoLab. The guys are code samurai, developing and creating custom applications while strictly abiding by the 7 tenets of Bushido.

Bushido Lab has 3 main warriors:
Sam Abbassi, co-founder, handles business development and community relations.
Kevin van der Poll is a UX/UI expert and design guru.
Christopher Arguello, co-founder, handles product development and code architecture/development.

Bushido Lab sprung from the ashes of battle and has resuscitated honor and transparency in the app world. They have a diverse background, and come from all walks of life; they are bound together by a deep commitment to building great apps.

Sam has a background in Economics and Neuroscience, and is a published Journalist in the Miami Herald (look him up). Sam is a battle-hardened samurai and has worked within a chaotic level 2 trauma Emergency Department.

Kevin has an education in programming in several languages, as well as ten years experience in hospitality; he co-founded and ran a bar in the Czech Republic which is still operating to this day.

Chris has a background in manufacturing and logistics and called the shots at a +100 person manufacturing firm. Chris has extensive experience in “bespoke” manufacturing and has a deep understanding of how to convert ideas into reality. All of these samurai are tested, and prepared to bring your app to the world.

Q: Why did you choose to work in a co-working space? And why in Miami?
A: Samurai are deeply committed to the community, so we wanted to be connected with our neighbors and hopefully improve the South Florida one app at a time. We chose the LAB because it was close to heart and home. We started off in Wynwood and want to see it grow technologically.

Q: What’s your favorite part of working in the Lab?
A: The atmosphere. There’s always a hustle and bustle going on, listening to the hum of people while they go about their work and the majestic ‘pings’ of the ping pong table in the distance.

Q: Give us an elevator pitch of your company.
A: We are a software development company that builds web and mobile applications for our clients. We apply Lean & Agile methodology to the development process and ensure victory in all challenges. We adapt quickly and have entered the cryptocurrency (bitcoin) industry. We are now leveraging blockchain technology in several industries and can help you launch your very own ICO (initial-coin-offering). Also, we are in the final stages of releasing our first dApp (decentralized application) on the Ethereum blockchain.

Q: What do you consider to be your company’s greatest accomplishment?
A: Our greatest accomplishment is our client care and customer service. Building apps is hard. Courage is very important to us, and we never flail when under pressure. We understand that every business is unique, and each company has individual needs, so we are always frugal when we help clients build out their dreams.

Q: What advice would you give to someone who is considering entrepreneurship, in general?
A: No challenge is too big. If you have an idea for an app that can change the world, don’t be afraid. Reach out to The Bushido Lab and let us bring your dream to reality.
