Located in the heart of the vibrant Wynwood Arts District, the LAB is Miami's original coworking space. In 2012, the founding members of the LAB teamed up with the Knight Foundation and a group of angel investors to convert a 10,000 square foot warehouse into a shared office space and event venue. Since then, a growing number of Miami's brightest and most forward-thinking entrepreneurial minds have converged here to share their ideas, learn from one another, and build amazing companies and projects.
Whether you're looking for strategic collaboration, wish to learn new skills, or simply want a creative space to call your own, the LAB is the ideal creative campus for all innovators and entrepreneurs. We believe that progress happens when like-minded folks can collide and create, leading to new ideas and new collaborations. We believe entrepreneurs, startups and organizations need an open and inspiring place to gather, experiment, and foster connections that they otherwise wouldn't have found.
The LAB is located in one of the most diverse art district in the America's, Wynwood.
The district's growth was driven by passionate artists who were supported by dedicated gallerists, arts organizations, and unique individuals who were willing to experiment and to take a risk. That risk has seemingly paid off as Wynwood is now a mecca of street art, where creativity breathes from the walls and the fabric of the neighborhood continuously evolves.
It took just a few years, but if you look around Wynwood now, you'll see a neighborhood that has quickly evolved to become the epicenter for creativity in Miami; and the LAB has been front-and-center as the hub for this entrepreneurial movement.
The benefits of becoming a member of The LAB are boundless. Aside from the opportunities to collaborate and share ideas with like-minded entrepreneurs, members get access to our range of campus amenities that are aimed to cultivate success. These include meeting rooms fitted with advanced technology, high speed Internet, on-campus tech support, office and kitchen services, and even a bike and skateboard sharing program. Members can choose between a personal desk, a private office, or a community desk of their choosing anywhere in the open space. However, membership to the LAB means much more than just working in a cutting edge coworking environment, it's your chance to join Miami's thriving and rapidly growing entrepreneurial community.
Our list of members are incredibly diverse and span multiple industries. Current members of the lab include businesses in digital media, web development, marketing, accounting, property management, food, hospitality, and more. There are no set criteria dictating who can become a member of the LAB,
because our aim is to welcome everyone, regardless of size, industry, or market share, into our community. Collaborating and sharing ideas with peers within your industry, as well as in other industries, is a critical aspect of business development and innovation.
Join the LAB to become a part of the magic city's premier melting pot of forward-thinking and creative entrepreneurs and startups! If you stop by to visit the LAB, you'll find that there truly is no better venue than the LAB to establish an office or to host an event where like-minded individuals can learn, mingle, and connect. In addition to our shared office spaces, we offer a number of large and open areas that host a variety of events, such as workshops, seminars, conferences, or private corporate functions. Our multiple venues have been home to numerous educational and networking events, complete with promotional & marketing support and catering services.
Introducing new ideas; original and creative in thinking.
The LAB Miami is a creative campus for entrepreneurs and innovators. We converted a 10,000 sqft warehouse in the Wynwood Arts District into a collaborative work and event space. It is a collision point for Miami’s forward-thinking minds.
Growing up in South Carolina, I moved to Miami, upon graduating from College of Charleston with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Marketing, in pursuit of my dreams in real estate and entrepreneurship. With an extensive background in the executive office space industry as well as event management, I find it tremendously gratifying to provide an exceptional experience for my clients. Also, having lived and traveled across the globe including Buenos Aires and Dubai, my passion for travel drives my endless energy for exploration and discovering new surroundings, people, and ideas.

My background in music business management lead me to understand the many difficulties behind creative undertakings. Managing several bands as well as a recording studio provided me insight into the entertainment industry as well as an understanding of contracts, project management, organizational skills, team building and commercial applications. I have since been involved in alternative media projects such as managing a fantasy fiction author. I now work in the video game industry doing art and animation for a company that I co-founded called Good War Games. In the struggle of turning dreams to reality I also discovered there is no greater reward than to build, create, design, learn and lead in the name of entrepreneurship.
